Dow Electric is looking for welder to join our growing team. We are a diverse company located in Malone, NY with team members and projects located throughout NY state. We offer a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, retirement and more. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a welder. Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities:

• Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
• Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
• Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.
• Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects; corrects problems as needed.
• Adheres to local and projects safety guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Works well as part of a team

Travel is necessary, and qualified candidates will possess a valid drivers license and will possess, or be willing to obtain, a minimum of OSHA 10 certification.
